Plough Cottage: 18th Century Rural Retreat Near Lake District - Carnforth

Enjoyed exceptionally comfortable and cosy rooms!

It was fabulous base for visiting most Carnforth attractions. I had a warm welcome from the host.

This place comes highly recommended as a great base for exploring the area, with an excellent and impressive apartment in a central location.

my apartment was comfortable close to the lounge area, local attractions, and a beautiful garden. such touches as a patio, a tv set, and a kitchenette area were useful. there was a bathtub. it was gorgeous and great near the lake district. overall experience was relaxing.

The kitchen had everything I needed to microwave my meals and the seating area was a nice spot to enjoy my fridge-stored snacks. Towels were a delightful touch.

The nearest airport was conveniently far away, making for an exciting journey.

Clean and tidy, had all amenities I needed , welcoming and friendly host who made the place cozy with a fire, felt like a home away from home.

Plough Cottage is a great place for a one-night getaway. The room is tidy and cosy, with lovely views of the garden. The location is stunning and not far from many attractions in Carnforth.

The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a fridge, microwave, and oven. Chris even made the place cozy by putting the fire on before we came home. I recently stayed at Plough Cottage for work and it was a true home away from home. The location was super convenient for my needs and Chris, the host, was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, and there were plenty of amenities available including a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy lounge with a log burner. Chris even made sure to light the fire before I came home from work, which was a lovely touch. a great stay and I would definitely return.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the friendly owner who treated us like friends from the start. the property was clean with extra touches like towels and soaps on the beds. the price was excellent and we will definitely be returning.
